Your laptop cable has a second job

Cowoni is software designed to protect against laptop theft. For anyone who prefers not to just study and work from home.

When power disconnects, protection kicks in

When you take a break from work, and someone is trying to take your laptop, they will have to remove the charging cable. Cowoni uses this as a signal for theft and alerts you and your surroundings.

Why it matters

Every 53 seconds, a laptop is stolen (GCU, 2019). That costs money, data, and time. Cowoni is software built to deter theft using the cable you already carry.

Product

Only your charging cable

Cowoni is a software-only solution, so you don't need any additional hardware.

Loud when it matters

If a thief tries to steal your laptop, they'll have to unplug the charging cable, cutting off the power supply. This triggers an alarm and alerts people nearby to take action.

Your phone hears it too

When the alarm goes off, you'll receive a notification on your phone and you can take action.
